Students Gain Hands-on Experience In Building Trades Programs With New Home Construction
Meridian students enrolled in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration, Electrical Technology, Masonry, and Residential and Commercial Construction have begun a different kind of homework.
Students in all four programs have begun construction of a 1,975-square-foot home in Stillwater’s Eagle Summit Addition. Home construction will take place over two school years and enables students to experience the home construction from the framing to the finishing stages. The house will feature a spacious 3 bedroom/3 bath home with a private study, formal dining room and a breakfast area.
